As Hurricane Willa hits, communicate with your family and friends free on Verizon.NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As Hurricane Willa approaches and moves through the coast of Mexico, people on Verizon wireless and landlines in the U.S. can contact family and friends with free phone calls and text messages. Free wireless and wireline calling and wireless texts are free for three days, beginning Tuesday morning and continuing through Thursday, Oct. 25. "The world is a very small place, and many Verizon customers in the U.S. have strong connections with family and friends in the area that is most affected by Hurricane Willa,” said Hans Vestberg, Verizon’s CEO. “We’re making it as easy as possible for Verizon consumers to connect with loved ones in the storm’s path.”
