Harris Stratex Networks Receives 2009 Wireless Backhaul Distinction Award

Harris Stratex Networks, a provider of wireless solutions designed to enable the evolution of next-generation fixed and mobile broadband networks, has been honored with the 2009 Wireless Backhaul Distinction Award from Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) and Crossfire Media.
This award was given for the Eclipse Packet Node high-speed IP wireless backhaul platform. Harris Stratex (News - Alert) Networks was able to successfully demonstrate its commitment to innovation towards the 4G Wireless Evolution with this wireless backhaul solution for mobile operators seeking to be 4G-ready.

The Eclipse Packet Node provides the next generation of mobile broadband services and is a platform built to seamlessly support TDM and carrier-grade Ethernet data traffic through scalable Liquid Bandwidth software. With the extensive use of modal architecture, carriers are provided with the ability to configure TDM or Ethernet services as and when they are required.
