BankServ reportedly has announced that DepositNow – its remote deposit service -- is now capable of supporting two additional scanner models: Canon (News - Alert) ImageFORMULA DR-2010C and DR-2580C.

 

Both the Canon ImageFORMULA scanners are preferred by several members of the medical services community as they are suitable for scanning driver’s licenses and insurance ID cards besides various other paper documents, said company sources.

 

DepositNow’s support of powerful, multipurpose Canon scanners will be responsible for advancing mainstream adoption of desktop check deposit. This will allow more users to deposit checks with existing hardware instead of going for a new purchase of a dedicated check scanner.
