Caribbean Cable Selects Cedar Point's Safari Switch for Initial Voice Service Launch on Anguilla

DERRY, N.H., and ANGUILLA, B.W.I., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Cedar Point Communications, Inc., the leader in integrated packet-based voice switching technologies for the cable industry, and Caribbean Cable Communications today announced an agreement for the deployment of Cedar Point's SAFARI C(Cubed) Media Switching System for the delivery of cable telephony services. The initial rollout will start on the island of Anguilla and move to the other islands where Caribbean Cable has a footprint.
Under the agreement, Caribbean Cable initially will utilize SAFARI C(Cubed) to provide local and international calling services to business and hospitality subscribers on Anguilla. Expansion into residential markets and to business, hospitality and residential subscribers on additional islands where Caribbean Cable maintains a footprint will follow.
