PCS Edventures! Completes Successful Pilot Program in Australia

BOISE, ID, Jul 28, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- PCS Edventures! (OTCBB: PCSV) today announced successful pilot results from its Australian partner and distributor, Intellecta Technologies Pty Ltd.

"An initial Academy of Engineering installation ordered earlier this year was placed at Aviation High School in Brisbane, Queensland -- a model magnet school designed to facilitate student career placements within the aviation industry," stated Joe Egusquiza, Vice President of International Sales at PCS Edventures!. "My recent visit to Brisbane allowed me to see how successful the pilot has been for PCS and Intellecta, since this model school is a high profile project site for both the Queensland Education Department and the Australian Federal Department of Education. During my visit, the Director General for Queensland, along with federal-level professional technical personnel, also visited and observed the lab in action." "We have strategically positioned the PCS SySTEMic solution for pre-engineering at Aviation High School due to the high visibility of the school and the compatibility of the Academy of Engineering with the goals and objectives of the faculty and administration," noted Dr. Tony Pugatschew, Managing Director for Intellecta Technologies Pty Ltd. "We are now working to expand the program at Aviation High School and collaborating with the surrounding feeder schools to introduce the rest of the PCS solution. There are no comparable systemic programs that link science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in a contiguous path from pre-kindergarten through high school in Australia, and we see tremendous opportunities for the PCS solution in both the public and private educational environments." In addition to time spent with Aviation High School during the recent international trip, Robert Grover, PCS Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, also delivered a keynote address and hosted several technology workshops at the Industrial Technology and Design Teacher's Association (INTAD) Conference in Brisbane. He and Mr. Egusquiza continued on to Bangkok, Thailand, to enhance manufacturing relationships and establish additional distribution channels for the Company's robotics and engineering products in Asia.
