Sprint Nextel, Virgin Mobile Completed Merger (S,VM)

Nov 24, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 11/24/2009 - Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) and Virgin Mobile (NYSE:VM) announced that they have completed their merger. The acquisition strengthens Sprint's position in the prepaid segment. The closing conditions were met earlier today when stockholders approved the transaction.
