ANDTEK unveils AND Phone Provisioning solution

Nov 26, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Unified communications specialist ANDTEK has announced the launch of a solution allowing a fast, automatic and error free administration of complex IP telephony environments.

According to the company, in a complex communications network there are permanently modifications. The administrators need to install new IP phones with different parameters, activate different communications services or add and delete IP phone users. These typical jobs also called IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) have to be done by qualified support staff.

ANDTEK's software solution, 'AND Phone Provisioning', simplifies and accelerates the administrator jobs and reduces the error rate during the installation.

The user defines on a web interface which jobs have to be carried out.

The installation or change process is started by a mouse click and the administrator is not involved anymore, as the entire process is running automatically in the background.

AND Phone Provisioning runs under Windows or Linux and is especially designed in use with the Communications Manager, Microsoft Active Directory as well as the ANDTEK Server, the company said.

No pricing details were disclosed.
