Westoba Credit Union Selects Acumen™ from Fiserv for Core Banking

BROOKFIELD, Wis. --(Business Wire)-- Fiserv Solutions of Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), announced today that Westoba Credit Union of Brandon, Manitoba - Canada's 29th largest credit union with $865 million in assets and 34,000 members - has chosen to implement its advanced AcumenTM account processing solution. Westoba officials chose Fiserv because they wanted a technology partner with the proven expertise and reliable resources necessary to deliver innovative products and services now and into the future.

"Throughout the process we were impressed by the commitment of Fiserv, their knowledge of the credit union industry and capacity to develop a new, modern core banking system like Acumen, " Westoba Chief Executive Officer Wayne McLeod said. "Our credit union is growing rapidly and our members demand modern services and continuous access to their accounts. Acumen will empower us to move our organization forward with innovative services for our members, as well as enable us to increase efficiency through automation and support us as we grow." Westoba also added two other products from Fiserv to its Acumen solution investment, the ConvergeIT®: IVR audio response system and solutions from the Wisdom™ accounting suite.

Twelve organizations in Canada have selected Acumen since January 2008, including three of the country's largest credit unions, with more than $1 billion in assets each. Designed to support the business initiatives of large, market-leading credit unions, Acumen (formerly known as iSpectrum™) was built from the ground up as a completely open platform using the latest Internet technologies. With unlimited scalability, real-time processing, global capabilities and 360-degree member views, Acumen delivers unsurpassed flexibility credit unions cannot outgrow. Acumen is available throughout Canada in an in-house, service bureau or resource management deployment model.

"We are pleased to welcome Westoba Credit Union into our rapidly growing client base of Canadian credit unions. Westoba is now one of four Acumen clients ranked among the top 30 credit unions in Canada," said Kevin Sparks, Fiserv segment executive for the Acumen product line. "Progressive credit unions like Westoba demand a new approach for these modern times. At Fiserv, we are committed to helping our clients envision the possibilities and deliver on them." "Westoba's decision to choose Acumen further validates our investment in this transformational new solution, and we look forward to expanding Acumen throughout North America," said Scott Butler, president of Credit Union Solutions from Fiserv.
