Internet Telephony Magazine Names Occam Networks' MSAP Solution Product of the Year

Mar 09, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Occam Networks, Inc. a broadband access supplier offering multiservice access platform (MSAP) solutions based on pure packet technologies, announced that its BLC 6316 OLT (optical line termination) blade has been named an Internet Telephony Magazine's 2009 Product of the Year.

This is the third consecutive year that an Occam Networks' MSAP solution has received an Internet Telephony award.

The BLC 6316 is the lowest cost per megabit access solution in the industry and with integrated resilient 10GigE uplinks, it provides an optimal solution for unicast entertainment and business Ethernet services.

This addition to the BLC 6000 MSAP family complements existing broadband solutions which include 10GigE, GPON, VDSL2 and telephony technologies. The BLC 6316 will be commercially available in March 2010.
