Insightix Business Security Assurance Visibility Earns McAfee Compatible Status

Mar 09, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Insightix, a developer of real-time network security intelligence and control solutions, announced that Insightix Business Security Assurance (BSA) Visibility has achieved McAfee Compatible status in the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program.

Insightix reported that its BSA Visibility is now interoperable with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) software. By providing total network visibility to the McAfee ePO platform, Insightix BSA Visibility improves the platform's management of security and risk from previously unknown devices across the enterprise network.

Insightix BSA provides total network visibility with real-time network, device, and user intelligence to the McAfee ePO platform, enhancing security and risk management by including visibility for more devices across the network. This real-time network situational awareness provides the information necessary to view the actual security state of the network, to know about associated risks an organization is exposed to, and to enable corrective actions to reduce the risk.

Security and compliance status can now be effectively controlled, and workflows can be defined in response to changes on the network".

Insightix BSA provides 24x7x365 network, device, and user intelligence, maintaining a real-time inventory of ALL assets connected to the enterprise network, their profiles, and the identities of those using the assets. Network information is continuously collected to reflect the actual real-time state of the network. The real-time network situational awareness provided by Insightix BSA is the foundation needed, by every security solution.

The McAfee ePO platform enables enterprises and governments to centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors.
