BRIEF: Miami International Airport to auction misplaced items [Sun Sentinel, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.]

(South Florida Sun-Sentinel (FL) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mar. 17--Miami International Airport will auction hundreds of misplaced items, including luggage, laptops, cell phones, digital cameras, iPods, jewelry and paintings, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The auction will be held on the third floor of Building 845, which is on the north side of the airport at 5600 NW 36th St., Miami.

Admission is $3. Children younger than 12 years old will be admitted free, and complimentary parking is available. All sales are cash and no refunds will be provided. Those planning to attend may inspect the items, excluding luggage, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Before being auctioned, the items are held in the airport's lost and found for 60 days. For information, call auctioneer Paul May at 305-778-0568.
