AT&T to Host Job Fair to Fill up 75 Vacancies in Connecticut

In a recent press release, AT&T (News - Alert) informed that it has as many as 75 job openings across Connecticut. With regard to this, the premier communication company is going to host job fairs this week. The company officials informed that the job fair, which focuses on AT&T's Growth Areas of U-verse and Wireless, Focuses on AT&T's Growth Areas of U-verse and Wireless will be held in New Haven and Rocky Hill. The company hopes that the job fair will help it fill more than 75 vacancies across Connecticut. The company informed that openings include but are not limited to U-verse technicians, door-to-door sales, retail sales and sales management. The company further informed that jobs are good with attractive wages and benefits that match the best in the industry.
 
U-verse and wireless are two of the growing business segments of AT&T. The new positions are a direct result of AT&T's continued expansion in these areas. Since 2007 through 2009, the company has made substantial capital investment in its Connecticut wireless and wireline networks and the total investment amounts to nearly $825 million.
 
According to the industry watchers, Connecticut is a state that has always created an environment for the big, medium and small businesses to succeed. The state always encourages the businesses that are ready to make investments in the state, assuring that nations' some of the best and brightest talents are available in this state.
 
"AT&T's goal of hiring more than 75 people in Connecticut underscores the importance of creating a climate that helps business of all types and sizes succeed. We are appreciative when businesses invest in this state and in turn these businesses are fortunate to have some of the best and brightest talent here in Connecticut," John R. Rathgeber, the president and chief executive officer of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association, said.

Tuesday, August 10 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at AT&T, 445 Winchester Avenue (2 Science Park), New Haven, CT.
 
Wednesday, August 11 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at AT&T, 500 Enterprise Drive, Rocky Hill, CT.
