Yahoo Successfully Integrates Microsoft's Bing, Looks To adCenter (YHOO,MSFT,GOOG)

Aug 25, 2010 (SmarTrend News Watch via COMTEX) -- 8/25/2010-Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) announced that it has successfully integrated its search function with Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) bing.

"Yahoo web, image, and video search experiences on both desktop and mobile devices are now powered by the Microsoft platform in the U.S. and Canada, with more markets to come," said, senior vice president of Yahoo search products, Shashi Seth in a post.

While the successful merge is a step in the right direction, both Yahoo and Microsoft lag behind market leader Google in the Internet search engine industry.

Microsoft's senior vice president of Online Services Division Satya Nadella said that the company is now working on the migration to adCenter, which is a pay-per-click advertising platform.
