Ascom Names Eric Brill as Channel Sales Director

Sep 08, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Ascom (US) Inc., a provider of on-site wireless communications and clinical alarm notification solutions, announced that Eric Brill has joined Ascom (US) Inc. as Channel Sales Director.

In a release, the Company said that Brill will focus exclusively on North American sales of the GE Healthcare patient monitoring platform which uses Ascom's wireless communication solutions to enable hospitals to customize, filter and send secondary alarms to clinicians' Ascom Voice over IP (VoIP) phones, pagers and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) handsets.

"Eric Brill's expertise and sustained success in the clinical middleware space, coupled with his knowledge of the GE Healthcare channel, is perfectly suited to lead our efforts to promote the new Ascom Mobile Monitoring Gateway," says Chad West, President and CEO of Ascom (US) Inc. Brill brings with him over 12 years' experience within the clinical integration middleware industry all of which were with industry leader Emergin Inc., now Philips Emergin. Brill was employee number four at Emergin and helped drive the company to its acquisition by Philips.
