US Digital River acquires Journey Education Marketing

Sep 08, 2010 (MANAVIGATOR via COMTEX) -- US e-commerce solutions provider Digital River (NASDAQ:DRIV) said on Tuesday it has acquired Journey Education Marketing, a reseller of software and hard goods for the educational market, in an all-cash transaction the sum of which was not disclosed.

The acquisition will broaden Digital River's distribution network and create cross-sell opportunities for its electronics, games and software clients, CEO Joel Ronning commented.

Journey Education Marketing manages numerous online stores that sell books, backpacks as well as education-related software and hardware products.
