Bob Freinberg Becomes President and CEO of Cassidian Communications
HERNDON, VA, May 30, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
EADS North America's board of directors has confirmed the
appointment of Bob Freinberg as President and CEO of Cassidian
Communications, Inc., an EADS North America company. Freinberg
recently transitioned into the top executive role at the company,
which is a leader in the public safety communications industry with
next-generation 9-1-1 call center applications, emergency
notification solutions and services, and P-25 land mobile radio
systems.

demonstrated the ability to provide strategic direction while
cultivating key relationships with technology partners, resellers and

Freinberg previously served as vice president and general manager for
both the 9-1-1 Call Center Applications and the Notification
Solutions & Services business units of Cassidian Communications. In
his new role as CEO, he oversees all aspects of the organization,
driving its continued growth in both the public and private sectors
in the U.S. and abroad.
Prior to joining Cassidian Communications in 2001, Freinberg spent
five years in international sales and marketing for start-up
companies, successfully launching a Voice over IP (VoIP) carrier in
Europe, Asia and the Americas. He holds a Masters of Business
Administration in Marketing, Distribution, and Logistics from
Michigan State University.
