Terrance Bilbo joins Grant Thornton as chief administrative officer


MCLEAN, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Terrance "Terry" Bilbo has joined Grant Thornton (News - Alert) LLP as chief administrative officer, based in the firm's McLean, Va., office.

In this role, Bilbo will oversee the firm's IT, Procurement and Facilities functions. He has more than 25 years of experience leading strategic programs that solve complex organizational and work flow issues and improve operations and profitability. He has demonstrated success in re-engineering global business processes, redeploying enterprise systems, and sourcing non-core services.

Bilbo most recently served as corporate vice president of finance operations for CSC (News - Alert), a global information technology services copany with 80,000 employees and revenues of $13.2 billion. There, he directed the strategic turn-around of the company's finance operations, and executed multiple cost-saving initiatives and restructuring programs. He led and managed all phases of internal business services, including financial and human resources shared services, real estate and facilities, travel and fleet, security, business continuity, logistics, records management, and support for sales and business development initiatives.



During his 25 years at CSC, he held a number of roles of increasing responsibility, including corporate vice president of shared and administrative services, and corporate director of administrative services.

Bilbo completed graduate studies in public administration and received a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also received an associate's degree in environmental science from Pearl River Community College.
