Cincinnati Bell Gives Wireless Customers An "Unlimited Thank You"

CINCINNATI --(Business Wire)--

Cincinnati Bell (News - Alert) Inc. (NYSE: CBB) is announcing that starting today, the company is automatically upgrading all current wireless customer plans to unlimited domestic voice, data and text for no additional charge.

"This 'Unlimited Thank You' is our way of letting our customers know how much we value their loyalty and support," said Mike Vanderwoude, senior vice president and general manager of Wireless markets for Cincinnati Bell. "Our customers won't have to worry about overage charges from now through February 2015 no matter what Cincinnati Bell plan they have and, best of all, there is no action needed to take advantage of this benefit."

Vanderwoude added, "We recommend that our customers keep their Cincinnati Bell Wireless service active until the holiday season, when offers from other carriers will be the most aggressive of the year." Cincinnati Bell is providing this "Unlimitd Thank You" to its customers as an added bonus while they wait to change their service to another provider.

Cincinnati Bell has been providing wireless service since 1998. Earlier this year the company announced the sale of its wireless spectrum licenses to Verizon (News - Alert). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter. Cincinnati Bell expects to continue to operate its wireless network through February of 2015.
