Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins $102K Contract to Provide TWIC Readers to Watco Greens Port Terminal in Houston, Texas

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. --(Business Wire)--

Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, has been awarded a $102K contract to provide its TWIC Plus IM2610 identification card readers to Watco Greens Port Terminal in Houston, Texas. The port is operated by Watco Companies, LLC.

The new contract is for the TWIC Plus readers and an onsite server with TWIC registration module. The readers will provide TWIC card authentication and driver's license reading capability, as well as printed visitor and vehicle passes.

Intellicheck Mobilisa recently launched a cloud-based business model providing hosted software solutions instead of installing software directly onto the customer's computer servers. Hosting the software allows easier integration and better customer support. The new cloud-based service allows updates to be installed instantly, without delays and without need for the customer to spend time and staff hours.

In July 2013, Intellicheck Mobilisa's IM2610 product became the first mobile reader of TWIC cards to be approved by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The TWIC reader product passed the TSA's rigorous testing and is on its Qualified Technology List (QTL) of approved products that ports, ships and other facilities with controlled access should purchase. In addition to reading TWIC cards, this product scans driver's licenses and military IDs, can match erson-of-interest lookups with law enforcement lists and authorized lists, and is capable of integrating with existing port security systems.

Dr. Nelson Ludlow, CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa, said, "Located in the heart of the Houston Ship Channel, Watco Greens Port Terminal is the largest private multi-tenanted industrial park in the Gulf Coast market. We are proud they have chosen our technology to serve as an additional layer of security for their personnel and visitors."

Kimberly Chochon, Vice President of Port Security Sales at Intellicheck Mobilisa, added, "U.S. port facilities are eager to maximize security and to implement security solutions such as ours. We have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellent customer service, including IT support, and our numerous new contracts reflect this."
