PLDT, Smart firm up partnership with Rocket Internet in Germany(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 01 September 2014 Release date- 29082014 - Top officials of PLDT, Smart Communications and Germany-based global internet company Rocket Internet met in Berlin this week to discuss strategic and operational matters following PLDT's recent EUR333 million investment in Rocket Internet, largest and fast-growing retail e-commerce player outside the United States and China. A Philippine-based global joint venture between the two groups is also being set up to focus on mobile commerce and mobile payment solutions for emerging markets.
