Odebrecht Group - Connected Passengers, SuperVia Uses Application to Facilitate Access

The tool, initially available for the iOS and Android platforms, offers the differential of a geolocation service that, when identifying the passenger's location, indicates the closest station for accessing the railroad system.

Using their cellular phones, people can follow the wait times along the SuperVia branches and the operation of the Alemao Cable Car in Rio de Janeiro, and also obtain complementary information about how the stations are operating, maps with the different lines, transfers between branches and integration points. The service is offered in Portuguese and English and is free of charge.



Updates will allow passengers to receive circulation alerts (push notification) and estimated time of each trip. The mapping of the establishments located near the stations is scheduled for the upcoming months.

The device meets the growing demand and the search for information about the concessionaire through smartphones. In 2012, the SuperVia website recorded 10,000 accesses per month and, in 2013, the monthly average was 45,000 accesses through mobile devices.


Social Networks Increasingly more, SuperVia has been interacting with its passengers through the social networks. The company's Communication team responds to more than 100 Tweets per day, with an average response time of five minutes.
