C3 Energy Named Finalist for 2014 European Product Innovation Award

C3 Energy announced today that it has been recognized as a finalist in the 2014 Product Innovation Awards, presented at European Utility Week, Nov. 4-6. C3 (News - Alert) Energy's smart grid analytics software is one of three finalists in the Smart Metering, ICT and Grid Security category.

C3 Energy's smart grid analytics Software-as-a-Service solutions enable utilities to realize the full economic, social, and environmental promise of a smarter grid. In the nomination, two applications-C3 AMI Operations™ and C3 Revenue Protection™-were acknowledged for their innovation. By integrating billions of data points and applying machine learning and advanced analytics in real time, these applications pinpoint meter health and detect fraud with 90 percent accuracy compared to an industry standard of 30 percent.
