Rentsys Recovery Services Experiences Significant Growth in 2014

Rentsys Recovery Services, a provider of comprehensive business continuity solutions for healthcare providers, banks and companies using enterprise-wide solutions, announced the company experienced significant growth in 2014.

One of the major sources of growth in 2014, was Rentsys' expansion of their managed cloud portfolio which included the launch of their BlackCloud Virtual Office solution. This product enables users to access workstations from any location or device and helps healthcare providers and banks meet regulatory requirements regarding recovery time during an unplanned power outage or disaster.

An additional factor contributing to this growth was Rentsys' partnership with Ripcord Solutions in December. This partnership enabled Rentsys to offer more than 150 interactive training courses focusing on topics such as busness continuity to business impact analysis and crisis planning.

Other important milestones for Rentsys include:

• Expanding its Service Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) report, which tests for internal security controls, availability of service, process integrity, confidentiality and privacy, to include two additional corporate datacenter locations;
• Providing more than 2,300 contracted locations with recovery services;
• Expanding their relationship with CommVault (News - Alert) with the integration of Simpana Software into its BlackCloud Virtual Office solution to improve data security and regulatory compliance;
• Being selected as DRI International's service provider of the year;
• Naming David Tedford Rentsys' new national sales manager.
