Cybergy Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB:CYBG), a national leader in cybersecurity, smart grid technologies and renewable energy, is expanding its critical cybersecurity and energy security product development in response to recommendations expected in the U.S. Energy Department's Quadrennial Energy Review (QER). The QER is the first comprehensive review of the nation's energy infrastructure. It will focus on electric grid modernization and address pipeline and other supply issues.

Cybergy Labs, a member of Cybergy Holdings' family of companies, leverages years of research that has culminated in numerous significant projects such as designing and building a microgrid for the U.S. Navy as well as developing and testing an all-electric tender work boat for the New York State Canal Corporation. Part of a family of innovative, technology-enabled businesses, Cybergy Holdings launched Cybergy Labs to focus on cybersecurity, smart grid and advanced energy systems and create an environment to accelerate these technologies and achieve their full potential.

"For the past 19 years, the Cybergy family of companies has served as a technology solutions provider to government agencies and commercial clients, providing critical, secure systems to meet our nation's technology needs," said Mark ray, Chief Executive Officer of Cybergy Holdings. "The unrivaled experience mix of our team members places us in a unique position to support the U.S. Government in addressing the challenges identified in the Review, including securing our nation's essential infrastructure."

U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz stated infrastructure was the number one item of interest in the upcoming report and the report's analysis also will focus on boosting energy storage, smoothing natural gas pipeline bottlenecks and expanding microgrids, which are small-scale power grids that can operate independently or in conjunction with an area's main electrical grid.

"The people within Cybergy represent a powerful, innovative brain trust. We look forward to continuing to work with the U.S. Government at the highest levels and pledge the full resources of our family of companies in support of a more secure environment for our nation and its citizens."
