Everbridge Extends Unified Critical Communications Market Dominance in 2014


Everbridge, the worldwide leader in unified critical communications, achieved record financial and market results in 2014, its third successive year of double-digit growth. Fueled by multiple new solutions and the addition of over 400 new customers in 2014, the company delivered year-over-year total bookings growth of over 40%. Everbridge has now achieved 18 consecutive quarters of year-over-year bookings growth and continues to redefine the industry with innovative mobile and IT communications solutions for corporations, governments and healthcare organizations.

2014 was a landmark year for Everbridge, as the company added over 100 new global employees, expanded its user population to over 70 million connected devices, and enhanced the core Unified Critical Communication Suite to meet evolving emergency response, customer service, mobility, compliance and cybersecurity challenges. Over the course of the year, Everbridge also more than doubled its global capacity and performance while increasing the number of critical messages delivered by 150%.

Additional 2014 highlights for Everbridge include:

Key Customer Deployments: Everbridge added over 400 new customers in 2014, while also surpassing retention and growth targets. The company added several well-known, global companies to the roster, including Uber, in addition to MultiCare Health System, Avery Dennison, Lifespan Corporation and Samaritan Health Services. Everbridge also added the University of Oregon, US Department of Transportation, Los Alamos National Securityand the Los Angeles Police Department as new customers.



New Product Launches: Everbridge completed the delivery of three significant new releases of the Everbridge Suite, each with advanced functionality, including Threat View, Escalations, On-Call Scheduling and PrecisionGIS. The company also unveiled IT Alerting to improve IT incident response and reduce downtime, as well as HipaaChat, a HIPAA-compliant secure messaging and telemedicine solution for healthcare organizations.

Strategic Global Acquisition: Everbridge completed two strategic acquisitions in 2014, including Vocal, the leading UK provider of business continuity and mass communication solutions, and Nixle, a leading software platform for local, public safety and service communications and community engagement.


Certification and Training: Everbridge University reached new milestones in 2014. The educational resource has now delivered nearly 400,000 training lessons and certified over 800 message senders.
