Cybergy Holdings (OTCQB: CYBG), a national leader in cybersecurity, smart grid, and clean energy technologies and services for governmental and commercial clients, is acutely aware of the importance of creating and fostering a culture of cybersecurity at work - regardless of the size, type, or mission of the organization.

"Even with the best defenses, an organization is needlessly exposed to potential cyber-breaches and other vulnerabilities by employees who may not have a sense of the importance of cybersecurity as it relates to the risk to the business or the mission," said Wyly Wade, Chief Technology Officer for Cybergy Holdings and Cybergy Labs. "Developing and maintaining a culture of cybersecurity requires an organizational commitment from the very top of an organization. Cybergy Holdings strives to achieve a culture both internally and externally that instills a sense of ownership and responsibility to the business and its clients. The underlying objective is to tie the success of our business and customers' missions to our cultural fabric through our products, services, and training manuals."

Terry DiVittorio, Vice President CyberOperations for Cybergy Labs, noted, "When all employees understand and contribute to organization's culture and mission objectives there is a sense of pride and commitment in seeing the business succeed. There is also a heightened level of personal responsibility where employees not only feel obligated to protect the organization and its assets, but take an active role in conducting business in much more safe and secure manner." Mr. DiVittorio added, "With the increase of cyber-attacks, many of which target the individual user, organizations must make employees active participants in the cybersecurity program strategy and defensive posture, and highlight the importance of every individual's contribution to securing the enterprise."

"It starts with people. Creating a 'security culture' is the best defense for organizations concerned about growing cyber-crime," said Mark Gray, Chairman and CEO of Cybergy Holdings.

Mr. Gray has been keenly interested in fostering a culture of cybersecurity across the company. "In seeking to make an employee-owned company that offers the best of solutions and services, many of which support our nation's security and critical infrastructure we must first truly believe in, and live a culture of cybersecurity and transcend that focus to our clients we work closely with daily. The best security starts with your employees," he said. "With cybercrime growing exponentially, a stronger security education program across your organization leads to greater internal and external trust. And in anyone's book - that's a value worth championing."
