Channel Partners From Around The World Gather At FreeWave's Headquarters For Annual Reseller Conference

BOULDER, Colo., April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- FreeWave Technologies (www.freewave.com), a leader in industrial, secure Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) wireless networking solutions, today announced a record number of channel partners will attend its annual Channel Partner Conference (CPC) Wednesday through Friday this week in Boulder, Colo. Over the past several years, FreeWave has been steadily growing its reseller community and now has more than 80 partners located across all parts of the globe, including North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, PAC-Asia and beyond.  During the three-day conference, resellers will learn about all the latest Industrial IoT solutions FreeWave has recently introduced as well as upcoming products that will be unveiled over the next several months.

"This year's CPC will be the best yet. Our partners are integral to FreeWave's overall success as we continue to redefine the Industrial IoT market," said Ken Granader, vice president of sales at FreeWave. "The discussions that will take place at this year's event will set the stage for a breakthrough year for our partners and FreeWave."

FreeWave's goal is to enable a world where implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) is effortless through universal wireless access and data transport for any Machne to Machine (M2M) device from any location across the world. The company introduced its Sensor-2-Server (S2S) Access Layer Strategy earlier this year in line with this vision.

FreeWave's S2S access layer strategy focuses on delivering best-in-class access layer platforms that allow IoT data and information to be analyzed, acted upon and transmitted securely from anywhere in the industrial IoT network. S2S is centered on four critical pillars of IoT networking and communication success: data collection, protection, transport and control.

FreeWave has rolled out several new products over the past several months that contribute to this strategy, including multiple new additions to the WaveContact Product Family and its new WavePro (WP201) shorthaul and Wi-Fi platform. In addition, FreeWave will be introducing many more offerings that will provide its customers with intelligent, automated capabilities for accessing, managing, transporting and curating data securely from any point on an industrial network.

"At this year's conference, we will map out our next steps for continued execution of this strategy. Together with our partners, we plan on making this goal a reality in the very near future," Granader said.
