Frost & Sullivan Highlights Broadview's Unique Technology in its 2016 Buyers' Guide

Frost & Sullivan's (News - Alert) 2016 Cloud Unified Communications Buyers' Guide highlights unique technology by Broadview Networks®. Broadview, a leading provider of cloud-based business communications and information technology services, delivers a 100 percent cloud-based unified communications (UC) solution OfficeSuite UC™. The entire solution can be set up and managed by a centralized customer administrator and users through Broadview's widget-based MyOfficeSuite portal ensuring that customers achieve the productivity and efficiency gains associated with deploying a UC system.

The Frost & Sullivan report details MyOfficeSuite's capability to offer greater flexibility in terms of system management permissions and authorizations as an important Broadview differentiator. MyOfficeSuite gives employee end-users unprecedented control over their communications features and settings, and it allows supervisors and managers to easily provision functionality to users.

"Our business customers can attest to the simplicity and superior usability of OfficeSuite UC as what differentiates Broadview from other service providers," said Brian Crotty, Broadview's Chief Operating Officer. "OfficeSuite UC's platform allows users to easily begin utilizing its features and capabilities from day one, helping to reduce training costs, minimize dependency on limited in-house IT, as well as boost both user satisfaction and adoption and drive a high ROI for businesses moving to a UC system."

A Frost & Sullivan 2015 survey of 1,786 North American decision makers revealed that a majority of respondents rank security and reliability as "important" or "very important" when selecting a cloud solution provier. Focus on service reliability and a fully managed offering make Broadview an appealing partner for customers with high uptime requirements. Broadview's OfficeSuite UC™ secures communications through the cloud without storing data on the phone, by using encryption from the handset through to its own network and by utilizing a dedicated, private MPLS connection from the customer's site to its network.

Broadview maintains a strong focus on network and service reliability, ensuring redundancy in all elements of its hosted communications solutions: power, network, internet, services, staff and more. While other providers only guarantee 99.9% availability, or 525 minutes of downtime, Broadview has delivered 99.999 percent (five 9s) availability in the last 12 months for its core network and the OfficeSuite UC™ service, equating to just 5 minutes of downtime.

"By owning the OfficeSuite UC platform, Broadview has the flexibility to rapidly develop services and features to more effectively address changing needs of customer organizations," said Elka Popova, Frost & Sullivan's North American Program Director for Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Collaboration, Information and Communication Technologies. "The compelling user and administrator interface, and the 100 percent cloud approach improve user mobility and enable greater business continuity."

In the report, Frost & Sullivan also notes how Broadview is the hosted communications provider with a broad array of features and capabilities that closely match many business' requirements, including telephony; email; audio, web and video conferencing, IM and chat; click to call from any web page or app; presence and mobility; and integrations with popular third-party applications like Skype, Salesforce and most recently Gmail, Google Apps and Microsoft Office 365.
