The SoC is embedded with certified CAT-iq firmware, offering a rich set of advanced features, including phone book and call list synchronization and in-field software upgradability to DECT ULE (Ultra Low Energy) standard for IoT services. The fully featured DCX SoC allows easy pairing of CAT-iq complying handsets and enables operators to offer IoT services to subscribers, based on the existing infrastructure.
