Cybersecurity, IIoT and Healthcare Business Process Experts Take Center Stage at OMG Special Events ProgramThe Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced the agenda and roster of prominent speakers for its Special Events program. The program will be held from December 5-9, 2016 at the Lowes Coronado Bay Hotel in Coronado, California, USA. Co-located with the OMG Technical Meeting, the program is supported by OMG annual sponsors, No Magic and Sparx Systems. Registration is open to the public. "OMG special events offer attendees the prospect of learning from top-notch speakers and networking with influencers who drive technology standards. For example, one session focuses on IIoT use in energy and smart factories and another on how business process modeling standards can create reusable knowledge artifacts for sharing across medical organizations," said Dr. Richard Soley, Chairman and CEO of OMG. The program will feature five Information Days-in-depth public forums-on the following topics:
Beginning Monday, December 5th, Dr. Jon Siegel, OMG Vice President, Technology Transfer, will present his tutorial on OMG modeling and middleware standards. On Tuesday, December 6th, the Cybersecurity Workshop will feature cyber experts who have written (and are writing) critical IT/software standards. They will also share business cases where automated risk management, blended with engineering and assurance solutions, address key cyber risk issues.
