DeviceAnywhere Expands Support for HP Application Testing Environments

Provider of end-to-end mobile application testing platforms DeviceAnywhere has expanded support for HP application testing environments with integrations to the latest versions of HP Quality Center (QC) and QuickTest Professional (QTP).

Users can now ensure the performance and availability of mobile apps and websites on smartphones and tablets seamlessly through the newest versions of HP’s solutions.

Additionally, the company also has signed a new strategic partnership with Utopia Solutions, a HP software quality and testing consulting firm. This partnership integrates DeviceAnywhere’s patented technology platform with Utopia’s test automation implementation capabilities.

Combined with the new HP solution integration, DeviceAnywhere and Utopia are expected to provide enterprises with a mobile quality test automation solution in addition to expert consulting and support services.

“Working with DeviceAnywhere we can enable HP Software users to bring test automation to their mobile apps and mobilized systems, and accelerate the ROI of their mobile technology investments,” said Lee Barnes, chief technology officer at Utopia Solutions.

DeviceAnywhere provides an enterprise-class, cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) platform. This platform tests and monitors the usability, functionality, performance and availability of mobile applications and websites, according to company officials.

Company officials said that the company provides integrated solutions for HP QC and QTP, allowing users to run and automate complex test scenarios on mobile applications.

The company builds on its long-time technical collaboration with HP to support the newest versions of HP’s software quality management applications, QC 11.0 and QTP 11.0.

Faraz Syed, co-founder and CEO of DeviceAnywhere, said that the combination of Utopia’s consulting and implementation expertise, DeviceAnywhere’s test automation platform and the company’s expanded integration with HP QC and QTP, provides HP users with an integrated mobile quality management solution that supports existing business processes while delivering dramatic business efficiencies and cost savings.

Recently, DeviceAnywhere announced that it’s showcasing its extension for Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1 at IBM Innovate 2011 in Orlando, Fla.
