TMCnet 4G Wireless Evolution Week in Review

This week in 4G Wireless Evolution news, MobilityTechzone Contributor Ashok Bindra reveals that in testing conducted by PC Magazine to find out which major mobile service provider really has the fastest 4G network, Verizon’s 4G LTE Network is far and away the winner.

“As reported by Yahoo! News, the test covered 21 cities and every county in-between,” Bindra writes. “Data delivered by AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and and MetroPCS was then collected and analyzed for speed. Once all of the data was collected and tested for speed, Verizon came out as the clear winner, wrote Yahoo! News reporter Tecca. In fact, according to PCMagazine.com study, Verizon’s 4G network speed was more than quadruple better than the competitors offerings in majority of the areas were these tests were conducted, wrote Tecca.”
