China 3C Group Announces Strategic Partnership with China Telecom

The China 3C Group recently announced its strategic partnership with China Telecom, a major player in China's telecommunication industry. By executing a cooperation agreement, the China 3C Group seeks to cash into the bourgeoning 3G mobile Internet market and see the partnership as a significant milestone in the company’s business history.

The business partnership revolves primary around 3G mobile Internet development and therefore the agreement entails both parties to form a large-scale cooperation in the Hangzhou area. The reason why the Hangzhou area was zeroed onto was because it is the capital city of Zhejiang province on the East Coast of China, and the home to China 3C.

The China Telecommunications Corporation (China Telecom) is an extra-large State-owned telecom operator in China and delivers services like fixed-line telephones, mobile services, Internet connections and application services. It also has the distinction of building the world’s biggest CDMA 3G network, and offers  a diverse range of branded products including "Tianyi", "My e-Home", "BizNavigator" and "Best Tone" among others.

With the new agreement in place,  China 3C's retail stores will be able to function as China Telecom's authorized point of service in all of its fundamental areas including fixed-line telephone services, mobile services, Internet connections and applications and prepaid phone services.  The basic idea is to provide China 3C's clients with more convenience, good quality mobile devices and integrated mobile Internet information services.
