Pulse Supply, LightPointe Team to Unveil Revamped Optical Wireless Bridge at ITEXPO Austin 2012

Yesterday, ITEXPO Austin revealed that San Dieo, Calif.-based LightPointe, a provider of point-to-point gigabit capacity FSO wireless bridges, and Pulse Supply, a value added distributor, have collaborated and will be unveiling brand new optical wireless bridges at the show.

The currently underway ITEXPO Austin 2012 is a not-to-miss semiannual conference that brings together thought leaders from multiple industries, and acts as a platform in which all of these individuals can learn from each other’s real-life experiences and work together to build a better tomorrow.

This strategic alliance makes complete sense due to the fact that Pulse Supply is one of LightPointe’s most elite distributors within North America. In addition, Pulse will be showcasing its AireStrata G Free Space Optics wireless bridge, touted as the first four laser system that encompasses capabilities such as auto-tracking that raises the bar significantly on reliability as well as security when conducting Gigabit Ethernet data transmission over long distances.

“The ITEXPO show has gained a wide following and we are excited to present the latest in wireless point-to-point data transmission technologies with our partner LightPointe,” said Michael Banschbach, vice president of Pulse Supply. “Our enterprise and carrier customers have had excellent results with LightPointe installations, which provide rapid and cost effective deployment of Gigabit Ethernet capacity connectivity between buildings. The AireStrata G has been especially well-received, due to technological advantages over other optical bridges, including the use of 850 nanometer laser technology, which provides superior performance and reliability over first generation 1550 nanometer laser systems. “

LightPointe has remained at the forefront of all next-generation technologies throughout the years and powers Free Space Optics bridges, 60/70/80 GHz backhaul solutions and hybrid optical-radios, which drive enterprise building connectivity.

“Pulse Supply is one of our leading value added distributors in the United States and is renowned for their excellent customer support and technical know-how,” added John Taylor, vice president of Sales for LightPointe. “Pulse Supply stands out in the VAR field because they offer a balanced portfolio of best of breed technologies and can custom tailor solutions depending on the customer’s specific needs, whether that customer is a telco carrier, service provider or reseller providing a wireless bridge to their end-user. “

Just yesterday, Pulse Supply was highlighted as the 2012 ADTRAN Partner of the Year, a prestigious achievement presented to the organization due to its continuously evolving partnerships and healthy growth rate.
