Black Box Launches InnerWirelessHD3-WLAN Device

Black Box Corporation recently announced that it is set to roll out its InnerWirelessHD3-WLAN. This solution will offer up an advanced Wi-Fi connection that is geared toward holding up under a high-density environment. The company says that Wi-Fi usage is growing by about 60 percent every year and because of this, new solutions are needed to make sure that people are able to stay connected when need be.

One of the steps that quite a few companies are taking is to offload connections made by tablets and smartphones from wireless service providers to enterprise wireless local area networks (WLANs). Voice over WLAN services as well as medical grade devices need to be able to have a reliable connection and good Wi-Fi performance.

Black Box’s InnerWirelessHD3-WLAN allows companies who are looking for that high speed and reliable connection to get what they need. This particular device is specially built to take on several WLANs in one area that would normally struggle to operate efficiently in high traffic areas.

“In healthcare, where mission-critical Wi-Fi is key to mobile health initiatives such as wireless point-of-care devices and telemedicine, Black Box’s InnerWireless offerings have already been successfully deployed with top-ranked hospitals, enabling facility-wide, high-capacity Wi-Fi,” said Kevin Swank, director of Product Marketing for Black Box.

Perhaps the best news, Black Box has full interoperability when it comes to enterprise access points from companies like Cisco and Aruba. These devices will allow companies to get online without much of a hiccup.

In a world where people can have three or four devices attempting to access the Internet at one time, this solution can be a bit of a life saver.
