Huawei, Antenna Software Partner to Provide Enterprise Mobile Solutions

Huawei, a global ICT and information solutions provider, and Antenna Software, an enterprise mobility specialist, announced their partnership at a recent trade show in Germany.

The partnership will see Huawei reselling Antenna's award-winning platform, the AMPchroma, as part of its bring-your-own-device (BYOD) Mobility Solution. In other words, their collaboration blends the established knowledge and expertise of Antenna in enterprise mobility, with Huawei’s heavy presence in the mobile industry.

A recent report from McKinsey & Company had indicated that around 77 percent of CIOs suggested they would permit some form of consumerization in the coming years. Hence, in order to address this growing trend, these two companies will jointly provide a complete enterprise mobility strategy, offering enterprise clients an integrated and secure platform for mobile applications across their information technology network.

This should also assist enterprise customers in purchasing a single solution that addresses the countless challenges BYOD presents.

Antenna’s AMPchroma platform will provide a new Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) module to Huawei’s BYOD Mobility Solution, giving Huawei’s enterprise customers use of an optimized state-of-the-art platform for building and developing mobile applications and content.

Jim Hemmer, chief executive officer and president of Antenna Software, said Huawei and Antenna had originally collaborated back in 2009 for the delivery of portal solutions ideal for mobile operators. Now, the company is thrilled to build on their past success using the enterprise division of Huawei.

He also said the partnership is a great opportunity for the company to reinforce their awareness of AMPchroma, while enabling Huawei to continue building its enterprise clientele.

Antenna’s award-winning AMPchroma mobile application development platform would also enable enterprises to free themselves by efficiently linking office applications to an advanced mobile device that can be used anytime, anywhere.
