MokaFive Names New Top Executives, Unveils Upgrades to M5 Solution for iOS

MokaFive continues to add to its team of top executives on the heels of debuting major upgrades to its M5 Solution.

Just months after the company named Dave Robbins as its new president and CEO, three top spots were filled by the company.

David Appelbaum was named senior vice president of Marketing. He has worked on marketing campaigns for Borland, Oracle, Autonomy, Salesforce.com, BigFix and Act-On. Also, Allan Peters was named senior vice president of Worldwide Sales at MokaFive. Previously, he was the senior vice president worldwide sales for BigFix, which was acquired by IBM in 2010. And Gregory Toto was named senior vice president of Product Development. Before MokaFive, he worked for Quantivo, a cloud-based marketing analytics company.

The company’s updates to the M5 for iOS solution provide a secure, encrypted workspace container, secure Web browsing, cloud storage,  SharePoint access, corporate data storage, document annotation, universal search, and application whitelisting.

“With these additions to our industry-leading iOS solution, M5 is providing the highest level of security and functionality for the distributed enterprise,” Robbins said. “As the popularity of IOS-based devices continues to grow within the Enterprise, M5 will enable them to meet its needs through enhanced manageability, functionality, and security.”

The company lets users access corporate data and applications, collaborate and share files — whether online and offline — from any desktop or laptop computer, tablet or smartphone.

Before coming to MokaFive, Robbins was chairman, president and CEO of BigFix, a provider of systems and security management. In addition, Robbins was CEO of several enterprise software and service companies including Quantivo, Quippe Technologies and Lucidity, Inc. He also was COO of Citadon, and vice president of Product Management and Services at UltraData. Prior to that, Robbins held various positions with ADP and Progressive Insurance Company.
