iKaaz Unveils New NFC Platform

While some might consider that mobile commerce is still in its “infancy,” there are a few different companies that are working hard to see it reach adulthood quicker than expected. NFC-enabled devices could help mobile commerce mature rather quickly. iKaaz is one company that is working hard to improve and perfect NFC tech so that it can be used and trusted more by users.

The company has launched a new point-of-sale system that is working to facilitate mobile payments through NFC. This new system can interface with any NFC enabled devices in order to process a wide range of transactions. The company has suggested that their new system will make it that much easier to make mobile payments over the air. They say that this will make it that much more convenient for customers and the vendors they are making purchases from.

The system, known as the NFC Reader, can be attached to a host of mobile devices and that in turn means that it is a self-contained point-of-sale device. The system is priced at less than $20, which means that even small time vendors can take advantage of what iKaaz has to offer. The company is also offering up NFC stickers that can be attached to a mobile device. Once the sticker is put on the device will have NFC abilities.

This new iKaaz platform is already processing more than 800,000 mobile payments per month. That is a huge milestone for a platform that was unveiled just three months ago. As mobile commerce continues to be more and more popular, the use of this solution will likely grow big time as well and at an impressive rate.
