Business Only Broadband Selected By BYNC

Business Only Broadband recently revealed that it has been selected by the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC) as the provider for the alternative Internet access and data solution for the Special Service Area #13. SSA #13 is a service that consists almost entirely of business parks that are located in the Stockyards Industrial Park. The BYNC had previously submitted a request for proposal earlier in the year that was looking for a solution to the limited number of ways the area could get Internet access.

In fact, Business Only Broadband (BOB) was highlighted as the only company that submitted a response that was considered acceptable and the partnership was formed. The cost-effective solution for SSA #13 means that the area will be provided with Internet access that won’t cost the area an arm and a leg but will give residents high speed Web access that is dependable and secure.

Vice President of Sales, Jon Procunier for Business Only Broadband talked about what the partnership means for his company as well as the area saying, "BOB is thrilled to help enable economic development throughout Chicago's growing industrial communities via its cost-effective and scalable network solutions that greatly improve the telecommunication infrastructure in underserved areas.”

BYNC Director of Commercial Development, Roger Sosa explained that the company’s process for finding the best provider for its needs was a rather rigorous one and that it did not select BOB lightly. The needs of SSA #13 meant that it had to find a high quality provider. The BYNC issued an RFP to 10 different providers and BOB was the only one that was able to come close to offering what the area and the association needed.

BOB is a company that has been bringing Internet access to communities and companies for years because it is able to offer those services at a cost-effective price.
