Bradford Networks and Brocade Collaborate on BYOD Security Solution

The biggest concern typically expressed regarding BYOD is security. Bradford Networks is a company that knows this all too well.

Recently, Bradford entered into a strategic partnership with network solutions provider Brocade to produce an integrated BYOD security solution that can ease this worry in campus environments. The solution comprises Bradford's patented Network Sentry solution and Brocade's wired and wireless HyperEdge Architecture, providing customers with secure network access control (NAC).

The Brocade HyperEdge Architecture creates a holistic wireless and wired infrastructure for a simplified, more automated campus network, while enabling organizations to harness the productivity gains and competitive edge offered by mobility cloud-enabled services and applications. Bradford's Network Sentry NAC solution, meanwhile, automatically profiles all devices and users that connect to the HyperEdge Architecture. In other words, the solution offers complete visibility into who connects to the Brocade network, on which device, where the session began and how long the session lasted, while also provisioning network access based on pre-defined security policies.
