Alianza Brings Hosted Fixed VoLTE Solution to Market

Alianza, a recognized name in the software telco space, has introduced a new hosted fixed voice over LTE (VoLTE) solution, which allows mobile service providers to further profit from their LTE spectrum. Specifically, this new solution facilitates the creation of easy-to-launch, profitable next-generation voice services.

This release is certainly a timely one, as recent predictions from Infonetics Research expect that there will be eight million VoLTE subscribers by the end of 2013. This number doesn’t seem that far-fetched, either, when considering that fixed LTE offers a cost-effective alternative to wired technologies for delivering broadband Internet to rural areas. Indeed, with voice remaining a key aspect of service bundles, Alianza’s new solution is an excellent way for mobile providers to capture a portion of the North American fixed voice services market.

The company’s new hosted fixed VoLTE solution is built on its Cloud Voice Platform and is, as such, hosted and managed entirely by Alianza. This allows service providers to outsource VoIP, rather than building and running a network of their own. It also means that the solution will be able to integrate with back office systems and business processes, since the Cloud Voice Platform is able to do so with the help of an extensive API.

In other words, Alianza is deploying its VoLTE solution via an SaaS-based model, while still allowing mobile providers to easily add customized residential and business services to their fixed LTE broadband offering.

“Using our model, mobile service providers have an opportunity to further monetize their spectrum and grow revenue by bundling VoIP with their fixed LTE services,” said Brian Beutler, CEO and co-founder of Alianza, in a statement. “These providers can drive incremental revenue, reduce risk, as costs are always aligned with revenues, and consistently deliver 55-80 percent gross margins."

This turnkey solution also supports VoIP delivery across all LTE frequency bands, integrated VoIP LTE routers and external ATAs, OTT service extensions, and turnkey Web management portals for end users.
