WPS Joins Intel's Business App Portfolio

The best businesses are run like well-oiled machines: all parts are functioning, fit together, and work for the overall smooth deployment of business services. With Intel’s Business App Portfolio, Android devices can supply businesses with a wide array of business-centered applications that work together to perform crucial services.

An app from Kingsoft Office Software, Inc. has been selected as the Android office suite solution for Intel’s business app portfolio. The WPS app will work with the Intel platform to benefit small and medium sized businesses.

The app will be part of Intel’s growing portfolio of business-related applications on Intel-based tablets, focusing on only those select business applications that have proven to increase productivity. It will join eleven other apps that perform various functions, from document editing to cloud storage for companies. With WPS and Intel, users will be able to view, create and share any document on any Android device.

WPS has over 220 million worldwide users, and is the most widely used free office suite on the market. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Office as well as the most popular cloud services, ensuring flexible and secure deployment for global businesses. It also supports document encryption so that files remain secure as well.

Tom Garrison, vice president and general manager of the business client platform division, said in a statement, "As the workplace evolves across businesses of all sizes, it is imperative that Intel provides technology solutions that are easy to deploy and optimized to deliver value across a range of business needs. By providing a portfolio of SMB focused applications bundled with our Intel based devices, we are making deployments easy and delivering instant value to businesses."

This sort of holistic application suite can only be helped by WPS, and it could be just what your business needs.
