InnJoo Releases Fire Plus Smartphone in Middle East

Rapidly-growing Middle East smartphone brand InnJoo recently announced the launch of its new handset, Fire Plus.

The new 5.5-inch smartphone will come through online retailer Souq.com in two versions to suit users of 3G and 4G LTE. Tim Chen, the co-founder and CEO of InnJoo, provided a comment on the launch and noted the affordability of these new devices.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of InnJoo Fire Plus offering one of the most affordable 5.5-inches Full HD IPS screen Octa-core and Quad-core smartphones in the market,” Chen said. “This move will further consolidate our position in the market. We will continue to disrupt the market in association with our strategic partner Souq.com in achieving our mission to offer world class products at the most affordable price to the consumers in the emirates.”

This could mean big things for enterprise employees in the Middle East who have yet to settle on a smartphone or who are not happy with their current hardware. The Fire Plus comes with the latest version of Android which can access internals such as 16 Gb of storage, a 64-bit processor, and a powerful battery that offers up to 22 hours of talk time.

Employees who are always on their mobile devices may first find excitement in the long talk time this phone offers. As telecoms move toward voice-over-LTE (VoLTE), employees may find more reasons to accept voice and video calls to other individuals and to group conferences. Furthermore, the large base storage volume of 16 Gb is enough to handle any normal document employees may need to read or edit.

Access to 4G LTE, for that variant, should also come across as a large selling point. Without that capability, the phone could fall flat in the business sector that relies on high network speeds to complete their daily tasks. As mentioned earlier, the combination of voice and data represents the future of the mobile phone industry. More importantly for this crowd, however, it also represents the future of business communications. Clear audio and rich communications services should be a part of any smartphone and service package a business official chooses to accept, and for InnJoo, 4G LTE capability means a step toward that future.
