Telecommunication Systems' CEO Elected to the CTIA

Mobile communication technology company TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., has announced that its chief executive officer, president and chairman of the board, Maurice B. Tosé, has been elected to the Executive Committee of CTIA- an international nonprofit membership organization that has represented the wireless communications industry since 1984.

In a press release, TeleCommunications Systems clarified that Tosé will serve his first one-year term as an "Other Supplier" Executive Committee member. Beginning on Jan. 1, 2012, Tose will assume the role of board of director.

The Executive Committee is responsible for all corporate governance and management issues of the association, including approval of its annual budget and dues, setting its public policy agenda and appointing members of the Nominating Committee.

Annapolis, MD based TCS is a market leading provider of wireless applications for navigation, hyper-local search, asset tracking, social applications and telematics. Millions of consumers around the world use TCS wireless apps as a fundamental part of their daily lives. Telecommunication Systems is one of the three companies in the Systems Software industry that reported the highest forward earnings yields.

TeleCommunication Systems ranks highest with a forward earnings yield of 17.3 percent followed by Microsoft with a forward earnings yield of 10.9 percent and Symantec ranking third highest with a forward earnings yield of 10.1 percent.
