RFMD to Showcase Zigbee Product Portfolio at CES

RF Micro Devices (RFMD), a member of the ZigBee Alliance, will display its industry leading portfolio of ZigBee Front End Modules at CES, from January 10 to January 13, 2012, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Zigbee product portfolio, which supports a large number of Smart Energy, Home Area Network and M2M applications, will be displayed in the ZigBee Alliance Pavilion. In addition these products also feature on many third-party chipsets and reference designs.

Hundreds of companies who are members of the ZigBee Alliance are making available Zigbee Certified products and a wide variety of utilities and energy service providers and others have already installed myriad ZigBee products.

RFMD's portfolio of Zigbee products are well known for their ability to support advanced functionality in the wireless industry, and also in the broadband and aerospace and defense markets. These products in addition to providing worldwide mobility also provide enhanced connectivity.

In other news, RF Micro Devices, Inc., announced that Lenovo Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business Group, MIDH, has honored RFMD with its 2011 Best Supplier Award. Lenovo MIDH is the subsidiary of Lenovo responsible for creating mobile Internet-focused devices, including tablets and smartphones, as well as devices for new categories like cloud computing, smart TV and the digital home.
