Saguna Networks Wins LTE Visionary Award from Mobility Tech Zone

Mobility Tech Zone, has honored Saguna Networks, a provider of Radio Access Network application acceleration and mobile content delivery, with the LTE Visionary Award.

Saguna Networks was recognized for the advancement of its Radio Access Network application acceleration and mobile content delivery.

“A number of leading mobile operators around the world are currently trialing our Saguna CODS solutions,” Lior Fite, chief executive officer at Saguna Networks said in a press release.

“This award recognition reinforces the vision that we share with our customers for enabling cost effective mobile networks that can deliver the promise of LTE,” Fite added.

Led by experienced team, Saguna Networks’ RAN application acceleration solution is aimed at optimizing the delivery cost of web content and applications over mobile networks. Saguna Networks’ Content Optimization Delivery System is noted to improve the mobile broadband experience without the need for mobile network operators to increase capacity in RAN. The company’s CODS software solution is developed to convert the mobile Radio Access Network into a computing and storage cloud, which can make the delivery of internet content profitable and risk free.

“Saguna’s achievements in advancing 4G through LTE development is worthy of being selected as recipient of the Mobility Tech Zone LTE Visionary Award,” Carl Ford, co-founder and community developer at Crossfire Media, one of the sponsors of Mobility Tech Zone, said in a statement.

Ford is of the opinion that Saguna is an innovator and one to watch for the next evolution of solutions.

Mobility Tech Zone is an expansion of 4G Wireless Evolution and powered by MobilityTechzone, the world’s leading communications and technology website serving nearly 2 million unique visitors monthly. Being an annual recognition, the Mobility Tech Zone LTE Visionary Award list features companies that deliver new products and solutions that facilitate 4G wireless broadband services.

Back in 2010, Saguna Networks announced partnership with Alvarion, a provider of WiMAX and wireless broadband solutions, to add its CODS solution into Alvarion’s WiMAX portfolio.
