Sennheiser Launches New Momentum Black Headphones

Audio hardware company Sennheiser has redesigned its Momentum headphones with its new model, the Momentum Black, AME Info reports.

The Momentum headphones, part of the Style Selection line, have been redesigned with Momentum Black. The new headphones are made with a stainless steel headband slider with ear pads and headband padding made out of high-quality black leather with red stitching.

Sennheiser’s high-end technology gives the headphones excellent sound quality. The circumaural ear cups block out distracting background sounds, and are designed for hours of comfortable use.

The headphones also come with an optional cable and a remote for making and answering calls and controlling music with iOS devices.

“Combining form and function is key to the allure of the Momentum,” said Mig Cardamone, Sales and Marketing Manager for Sennheiser Middle East. “It’s a formula that has provided successful with critics and discerning music lovers alike and it now comes in black, with a new look that takes the premium sound experience to the world of fashion.”

The styling, natural materials and colors match global fashion trends and will match well with the latest fashion trends, Sennheiser says. Fashionable technology is aiming for dark and professional-looking hardware that looks simple and clean.

The Momentum Black will be available to purchase in March. The Momentum is currently available for purchase at leading electronics retailers. The Momentum is currently $350 and made out of brown leather with dark stitching, a stainless steel and brown leather headband and a cable with mobile device controls.

The Momentum Black has extra padding and an overall cleaner design than the Momentum, and is at the same $350 price point.

Sennheiser is a German global company that focuses on sound technology: Microphones, headsets, audio monitoring systems and conference technology. Products are used in the assistive listening and aviation fields.
