Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air introduce applications for iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile users

(Airline Industry Information Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK), reported today the launch of three applications designed for iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile users.

The applications can be downloaded for free at http://www.alaskaair.com/mobile. They provide users with flight status information, flight schedules, flight alerts and a link to Internet check-in.

Customers can also use the applications to log into "My Trips" in order to view itineraries, change seats, check upgrade status and add Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan numbers to reservations, as well as downloading boarding passes.
