Verizon Wireless Expands 3G Wireless Network in Buffalo, West Virginia
BUFFALO, W.Va., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated a new cell site in Buffalo, which enables more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; view high quality videos; access the Internet; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
The new cell site improves coverage along State Route 62 from Buffalo north to the town of Grimms Landing and along U.S. Route 35 and the Kanawha River north from the town of Pliny to Grimms Landing.

"Our 3G high-speed wireless broadband network is the largest and most reliable in the United States, and field tests are under way that will enable us to become the first wireless company to offer commercial LTE (Long Term Evolution)-based 4G service in the nation, starting in 2010."
