'Hungarian MNOs add 51,000 mobile internet users in July'
(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The three Hungarian mobile operators Telenor, T-Mobile and Vodafone reached a total of 1.09 million mobile internet subscribers at end-July, up by 51,000 from end-June, according to market regulator NHH. Mobile users sent some 1.18 million GB of data in July, up from 1.103 million GB in June, while the average amount of data transferred rose to 1.39 GB compared to 1.38 GB in June. In July, T-Mobile's share of mobile data subscribers rose to 49.22 percent from 48.86 percent in June, Telenor's market share fell to 25.18 percent from 27.02 percent, while Vodafone saw its market share increase to 25.60 percent from 24.12 percent in the previous month. In July, T-Mobile was first in terms of the volume of data transferred by clients with 509 GB (484 GB in June), ahead of Vodafone with 340 GB (317 GB in June) and Telenor with 331 GB (302 GB in June). Traffic per subscriber for July, calculated on the basis of subscriptions involved in data transfer, totaled 1.56 GB in Vodafone's network (1.57 GB in June), 1.56 GB in Telenor's network (1.59 GB in June) and 1.39 GB in T-Mobile's network (1.38 GB in June).
